I had occasion to leave my desk this afternoon. Walking around campus, I was struck by the beauty of this place. At the start of every term, I practice seeing this place anew, with fresh eyes. Today is the second day of our summer term for our January Freshman students. Next week our new group of Graduate Students will start their classes.
Many people hear “high desert” and think Wile E. Coyote; in truth, we get snow, rain, and four full seasons in Santa Fe. The city is more complicated in terms of climate, precipitation, and vegetation. Here are a few photos I took just walking back from the Student Health Office today.
