Virtual Visits at St. John's College

on

This week, our staff in the admissions office began meeting virtually, along with current students and the rest of the administration. We have been hard at work developing ways to continue to meet with interested students, and talk about St. John’s College with them. As a result, we have come up with a few different methods that you can use to visit and learn more about our school from the comfort of your own home. Below are a few examples:

Sign up for a Virtual Visit

The admissions office has developed ways for students to sign up to “visit” St. John’s College from their own home. By clicking on this link, you will be brought to a calendar through which you can meet with an admissions counselor and receive an info session. Usually, these sessions consist of a breakdown of the St. John’s program, and talk in depth about life on each of our campuses. These are offered Monday-Friday, at 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM, EDT. These are great opportunities for students and families new to St. John’s College, and are interested in getting better acquainted with us and all that we do.

Virtual Tour

After you have had your meeting with one of our admissions staff, you might be interested in seeing whichever campus you are most interested in! We offer virtual tours of both our Annapolis and Santa Fe campuses. These tours are “led” by some of our student tour guides, and are available whenever you are interested in taking a virtual trip to the waters of the Chesapeake Bay, or the mountain vistas of New Mexico.

Meeting with an admissions counselor

If you have a decent understanding of who we are as a school, but still have some specific questions, you may want to sign up to speak with your admissions counselors. We are offering virtual appointments on an ad hoc basis. For more information, please contact your admissions counselor.

We are doing everything we can to create the most amount of opportunities for you to connect with us and learn more about St. John’s College. If you are currently homeschooled, or at home for the next few weeks, and have an idea for what we can be doing better, don’t hesitate to reach out to us at admissions@sjc.edu!
