Early June marks a brief respite between semesters and before our summer terms and summer programs shift into high gear. This year the Santa Fe Staff Association Council worked with the President’s office to sponsor a “thank you” picnic for everyone on campus; this included, staff, faculty, students, and families. It was a beautiful Friday afternoon and the turnout was stupendous! Mr. Roosevelt, our college-wide president, and president of staff association, Joey Leakakos organized a great game of kickball. The teams were evenly split and included representation from almost every department/office including buildings and grounds, alumni relations, communications, IT, students, and many friends and current students.  We ate hot dogs and hamburgers under the shade of our beautiful trees. Mary Ann Burke, our director of the student activities also made sure to have several 5 gallon buckets full of water and several high powered soakers for kids and adults alike to enjoy!
